The Shabbat Challenge is one of our most popular and exclusive programs. Young Jewish guys and girls spend six full Shabbats together (Friday evening until Saturday evening) in different communities in the Tri-State area. They get a chance to meet many great people in different communities, make new friends, and bond with old ones. Keeping Shabbat might be a challenge but not when you have many amazing people in one place, exciting programs, classes, delicious food, and exploring of new places. But the real challenge begins with the ShabBUCKET Challenge. All the participants place their phones into a designated bucket on Friday before Shabbat starts, and retrieve them after Shabbat is over. On Saturday night, the host will take out the first phone, and its owner wins a raffle! All the raffles will be of high value to the participants.
For one of the Shabbats, we will spend an extended weekend in the Poconos with all kinds of fun, e.g. snow tubing!
And Shabbat #6 will also be longer than the others - Friday thru Sunday (optionally until Monday) in Los Angeles!
Only participants who fulfill the challenge by keeping the first 5 Shabbats will be eligible for the LA weekend.
